My husband gets to listen to you all day on a radio, but I can't. If you could get online streaming, that would be awesome for me. I would much rather listen to you than the local stations around here. Some of these local stations are blocked on our computers due to large bandwidth. I've been listening to you both in the mornings since I moved to the Wichita area - three years! I came across your site accidentally - your dial location is the same as my favorite station in the Topeka vicinity where I moved from. I would cross the flint hills and the stations would switch to you. So you became part of my new neighborhood. I've tried to listen to a number of local stations and they make me crazy - lots of foolish chatter and little if any music. So I keep my dial on 102.9.
I'm disappointed to hear Jason is leaving?! Hopefully just to another time slot at the studio. You have just the right amount of wit, encouragement and positive conversation to get the morning off to a good start. And your interchanges with Fred keep me smiling. If you're shifting times, please mention that on air. If not, and you're moving on - heaven forbid - best of luck. My mornings won't be the same without you.

I love driving to work to Newton with the Waking Crew. Thank you, you wake me up in the morning with good music and just the right amount of talking.....I am So NOT a morning person. ;-))
I also need to rant and you guys seem to understand how frustrating trying to do the right thing can be. Our planet it going to heck because of mankind and the waste we produce, but when you try and do something about it people make it as hard as possible. Case in point, recycling in Haven, KS. Yea I know it is a small town but, The city does not offer it, both waste management companies in Hutch do not service Haven. One company will not allow drop off unless you are a customer. The other will only allows drop off during business hours..........well HELLO!, I work too. So what am I force to do???????? Send my stuff to the landfill and contribute to the rapid decline of our environment......Or take up the offer of a fellow employee and schlep my waste to Newton, where they have a manditory recycling program, and let her put my stuff with hers. I listen to 102.9 whenever I am in the car, no other station will do. If I drive out of range, then it is CD's. We even leave the tv on channel 7 (it plays your station) when we are gone so our dogs have something to listen to and help keep them calm.

I listen to you every morning and so do several of my students and last week you both kept going on and on about how you didn't like school.
